Agreement
By creating an account or using Compliance Bootcamp ("the Platform"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform. These terms constitute a binding agreement between you (or your organization) and Anchor Cyber Security LLC.
The Service
Compliance Bootcamp is a compliance improvement platform that helps organizations track, remediate, and manage compliance gaps across multiple frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, NIST, GDPR, and others). We provide the platform; you are responsible for the accuracy of the compliance data you enter.
Important: Control data in the Platform is provided for informational and tracking purposes. We verify control content against authoritative sources and display source disclaimers, but the Platform does not constitute a legal compliance certification. Engage a qualified auditor for formal assessments.
Accounts & Organizations
- You must provide accurate registration information
- You are responsible for all activity under your account
- Organization Owners are responsible for managing team member access
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account
- One account per person; do not share login credentials
Billing & Subscriptions
- Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance
- Payment is processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges
- Promotional codes (e.g., trial waivers) are non-transferable and have no cash value
- Downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing period
- We do not provide refunds for partial billing periods except where required by law
- We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice to existing subscribers
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Platform for unlawful purposes or to store unlawful content
- Upload malware, ransomware, or harmful files as evidence
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other organizations' data
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the Platform's source code
- Resell or white-label the Platform without written authorization
- Use automated scraping, bots, or scripts beyond our published API
Your Data
You own the compliance data you enter. We do not claim ownership of your evidence files, control statuses, or organizational data. You grant us a limited license to store and process your data solely to provide the Platform services. See our Privacy Policy and Data Policy.
Intellectual Property
The Platform, its interface, and the pre-loaded compliance framework content are owned by Anchor Cyber Security LLC or licensed from standards bodies. Framework control IDs and names (e.g., SOC 2 criteria, ISO 27001 controls) remain the property of their respective standards bodies. We display source attribution and links to official documentation.
Termination
- You may cancel your account at any time from Settings → Billing
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms
- Upon termination, your data will be retained for 30 days then deleted
- You can export your compliance data before cancellation
Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability
The Platform is provided "as is." We do not warrant that the Platform is error-free, uninterrupted, or that control content reflects the most current version of any standard.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Anchor Cyber Security LLC's total liability for any claim arising from use of the Platform shall not exceed the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maine, USA. Disputes shall be resolved in courts located in York County, Maine.
